Do e-Books have a carbon footprint?
Although an e-Book is not a physical item, it does still take energy to produce and transmit. It also has to be played on a device, which has a carbon footprint all its own. And that footprint gets ever larger if you frequently update your devices. We can’t control that end of things, as that’s down to individual choices. Our e-Book production will be included in our annual carbon audit, to ensure that we get our entire operation as close to carbon neutral as possible.
